Comments Policy

We love comments on Clayfire Curator and invite your participation. We believe that by following a few simple ground rules for respectful conversation, everyone will feel welcome to join in.

By posting on this blog, you agree to the following:

  1. You may comment without registering. You can log-in via Disqus, Yahoo!, OpenID, Twitter, Facebook—or not at all. It’s up to you.
  2. You may post anonymously as a Guest. Although you are required to provide an email address as protection against spam, it will not be displayed unless you type it in the body of your comment. You are not required to provide your name. We don’t recommend posting comments anonymously, but you may do so if you wish. We reserve the right to change this rule at any time if it is abused.
  3. You may disagree with what we say. If you disagree with anyone or anything on Clayfire Curator, we ask that you do so in a way that is respectful. If shouting is your style, there are other places where you can do that. We won’t tolerate it here, and hope you won’t either. If an entry gets you fired up, excited, or makes you think so deeply that the words pour from you like an overflowing fountain, consider publishing it as a thought on your own blog and trackback.
  4. We reserve the right to edit or delete your comments. We reserve the right to edit comments for clarity, readability, or spelling errors when appropriate. Your comments will be deleted if you post something that is, in our opinion, (a) mean-spirited; (b) off-topic; (c) libelous, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, profane, pornographic, offensive, false, misleading, or which otherwise violates or encourages others to violate civility or any law, including intellectual property laws; or (d) spam. While you may post a link to your site or your most recent blog post, if you say something like “Great Post” then link to Casino Central or Seduction Today, your post will be deleted.
  5. You retain ownership of your comments. You, and only you, are responsible for your words. They are yours and you get to keep them. However, by posting your comments to the site, you agree that you retain ownership rights in what you post here.
  6. You grant Clayfire Curator a license to post your comments. By posting your comments to the blog, you are granting Clayfire Curator the right, in perpetuity, to use, alter, and/or display them however we see fit. This license is worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and royalty-free. You grant Clayfire Curator the right to store, use, reproduce, publish, edit, translate, modify, adapt, distribute, prepare derivative works of, publicly perform, and publicly display the Content alone or as part of other works in any form, including but not limited to a blog, in a book, a video, or presentation.

Once your comment is submitted, that’s it — you’re immortalized.

Clayfire Curator is intended to provide a hospitable and respectful place for open conversation. Since comments have the ability to build up or tear down your reputation, please be gracious and do your part to help everyone feel welcome.
